The catalogue of “Gjenerata A”, a photo project by Julius Eb, is now available for download.
“Gjenerata A” is a portrait of Albania’s society – namely of the first generation growing up after the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha.
The project focuses on 4 dimensions: History, Challenges, Values and Women. The latter was chosen as a topic as women underwent the most substantial transformation in society over the last 100 years.
The exhibition was initially shown at the National Museum of Arts, Tirana (2017) and due to the success again at the National Historic Museum (2019).
A key elements of the project was the close collaboration with civil society organizations of Albania. Together with psychologists of these organizations workshops with over 1000 high-school students were organized to discuss their perception of the Generation A.
