“The Clock” is currently on view in the gallery of the Palm Beach International Airport as part of the group exhibition “Winds of Change”.
“The Clock” explores humanity’s fragile interdependence with nature and the relentless flow of time. This photographic composite is a metaphor, with roses – the clock dial – symbolizing Earth’s uniqueness. Humans within the figure-like hour-markers are both caretakers and disruptors, revealing a world in transition, where the past fractures and new eras emerge. Birds deliver messages on the winds of change, carrying both destruction and renewal. Sometimes, the message is purple, urging that it’s “five to twelve”.
The exhibition is open until the end of October.
